  • AstroFin determines the applicant's income from their pay slip. From there, we are legally required to do a credit bureau search to validate any other accounts and the status thereof. Our support operator will contact your employee to process the application and then get a further breakdown of their monthly expenditure (eg: monthly rent, food, electricity, education expenses etc) which is factored into the application. Our primary objective is to not over-indebt the loan applicant.

  • No - AstroFin provides the funding for the loans and handles all the regulatory requirements and costs thereof.

  • Before any loan is paid out, your employee will be issued a quotation with a breakdown of the loan application including all costs and instalment amounts. This will be explained to your employees before proceeding with the loan application.

  • We only ask for basic contact and personal information, the most recent three months' payslips, a copy of the applicant's ID, and a selfie of the employee holding their ID to validate their identity.

  • Your employees can apply to receive up to R15,000 payable over 6 months. Terms and conditions apply.

  • We require our repayments to be made via payroll deductions. Your business will receive a remittance from us each month to process each loan amount owed by your employees. Guaranteeing our repayment is why we're able to offer loans for as little as 5% interest compounded monthly for the first loan, and as little as 3% for any repeat loan. Don't fret though, we will always do our due diligence to ensure that we never overlend.

  • Because our loan product is based on Payroll Deductions, AstroFin does not have access to your employee's banking account details. The money is also instantly available via eWallet, while bank transfers can take up to 48 hours.

  • We would request your company's CIPC document to verify your registration number. A Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be signed, agreeing to our amicable terms and conditions.

  • No. We keep all operations NCR compliant, which means we will not assist an applicant under debt review.

  • Once the SLA is signed, a unique employer code will be assigned to your company. One of our friendly team members will present to your staff and explain to them how the loan application process works. This will take place on your work premises.

  • All you need to apply for a loan online with AstroFin is:

    • original SA ID

    • latest 3 months' bank statement

    • latest payslip

  • You can apply to receive up to R8,000 over 6 months.

  • Payment is often processed on the same day. Once you have accepted the DebiCheck, it will reflect after 5 hours.

  • Payment can be organised via Debit Order.
